Kobe did not have a good shooting night. He was 3-13 and finished with a season-low 6 points. The last time he had his points in single digits was when he had 8 against Denver in January 2007. He also had a pretty good eight assists.
And so the Nets are already sucking again. Already back on a losing streak of! two games. But Vince Carter had a good effort of 27 points. Bostjan Nachbar did pretty good, too. He had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Jason Kidd had 11 points and 10 assists.
Sad news for the Grizz. They lost Tuesday to the Bucks 102-97. Ouch. Well, Crittenton and Brown played their first games with Memphis. Well, so. They sucked. Javaris had 5 and Kwame had just 4. Mike Miller had 32 for Mem and Rudy Gay had 21. What the Grizzlies scored was 3.9 points below their 100.9 point average.
The Bucks killed them with Mo Williams' 32 points and 7 assists while Charlie Bell had 17 and Charlie Villanueva had 16 points and 16 rebounds. I remember when Villanueva had 48 against Milwaukee when he played for Toronto. That was great. Now he's only averaging 9 1/2 points a game. He also gets my vote for MUP, "Most Ugliest Player".
